Bilrendhy Hutapea joined Nurjadin Sumono Mulyadi & Partners (NSMP) in 2019. He graduated from the University of Pancasila with a degree in Law in 2011. He continued his studies and obtained a Magister of Law in 2018 from the University of Indonesia.
Bilrendhy focuses his work on legal advisory and assistance on a wide range of matters, which include handling corporate licensing, commercial, employment & labour, industrial relations disputes, capital markets, aviation, compliance, criminal proceedings, and day-to-day work of several of the firm’s major clients.
Prior to joining NSMP, Bilrendhy was employed in Indonesia’s biggest aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul company for seven years in which he lastly served as the senior manager of legal and corporate governance. Throughout this period, he had been actively engaged in providing legal advice and assistance for the company’s related divisions and executives in regard to the company’s management, general corporate matters, business ethics & corporate governance (in reference to MSOE, FSA, ACGS methodologies, etc.), corporate secretarial, licensing, dispute settlement, commercial transactions, capital markets, internal compliance, employment and all daily activities of the company’s business practices. Bilrendhy also led his team in supporting the company’s major corporate actions and transactions which among others initial public offering, rights issues, strategic partnership or alliance with a global aircraft engineering & maintenance company, and the acquisition of an offshore company.
Bilrendhy is a member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (Perhimpunan Advokat Indonesia – PERADI), a member of the Indonesian Air Law Society (Masyarakat Hukum Udara), and also, a member of the Association of Indonesian Certified Legal Auditor (Asosiasi Auditor Hukum Indonesia – ASAHI).
Bilrendhy is fluent in both English and Indonesian.
